Torchlord 06:27
In the deserts beyond the forests the burned ones hang banners now so pure the way they abhor us, our lives under mountains and over towers the fellowship will bring a tyrant down these paths may not be ours we'll try a teller in an endless time a quest, a tale to try to guide my light riding through this overside ...on climb the bones and don the crown take a name not given to you raise the sword, bring the story back to us climb the bones and don the crown take a name not given to you drag the pen, bring the story back to us through the clouds and over mountains but surely we are falling down ever toward where we are headed through the land of the machines too but one of them is one of us underground and over mountains one of us will meet a tyrant now

so I crawled into the mouth of the world all dripping tongue, stale breath the walls breathed heavy and warm bare feet slide on slick earth I know what waits beyond the pale and I know the land where lurks the beast Slew him once, he haunts me dreams wet and hungry gnashing teeth I set my jaw and I make my wish and I clench my fist no matter what, all men must die the tracks were clear, I must be close my nostrils flared as everything went red that wounded thing, the stench was unmistakable ... the ground began to stir I know what waits beyond the pale and I know the land where lurks the beast Slew him once, he haunts me dreams wet and hungry gnashing teeth thrust the spear into the unknown twist the knife between the teeth find myself between the jaws of Satan's finest war machine I set my jaw and I make my wish and I clench my fist no matter what, all men must die No life in the void now I know No life in the void No life no life no life no draw my blade and skin the serpent drain the blood and flay the beast lay his bones upon the altar cleanse this place of its disease

Pure & Wild 05:24
sweet consultations with the lady of night tilling the garden inward warm incandescence robs the hall of its fright smoke curls, she shakes off her robe seething in madness in a column of smoke and she's wretching in plumes of camphor upon the witching hour she draws a design between disjointed vermin's bones lost in fever dreams as the vapor dulls the lines silently she screams as the world begins to cry under the vaulted ceiling we call the sky tonight now follow trails in the wood our shadowed lady cuts a path with her light leading us ever deeper a love so pure and wild could never know no bounds lay on the earth defiled we are but children now nocturnal sanctuary where her dark stare is in me consort with darker forces than we surely see

Feather 03:52
like the shine that heaven sent like a feather on me close your eyes and drift away make a wish and believe hold your breath for a second now let the world complete like a shine that heaven sent keep your feather on me I hold my head in hopes of blue a little moon dust in your light gravity fails and time too its all wrapped up in tonight I think the leaves are in the wind and they are falling around me I hold my breath for a second then they still land at my feet I can feel them shaking now or maybe its just me like the shine that heavent sent keep your feather on me I hold my head in hopes of blue a little moon dust in your light gravity fails and time too its all wrapped up in tonight

Toil 06:32
I look to the west, I behold the sun sliding downward like a smoking gun spring blossoms flutter from the trees in places I'd rather not rather be or do I now? no there are none some things are best left in the south best left in the rotten dirty ground it fucked my heart over so well I though I'd never have the heart to tell John died in the bluegrass in the sun but isn't this something now we're a little more focused now turn a little bit up the down its alright with me fall through the splitting clouds to the earth without a sound the stars shine underground its alright with me this life is a garden all its own some weeds outgrowing seeds I've sewn the light is flowing with such ease over soil upturned in the summer breeze and in this toil I've found my home

Holy Water 06:36
so step in the mire, into the swamp viscous mist bellows higher hold your hands to the fire before you go rinse off the cold the water is cloudy yet still you go feel it stirring around you the hollow sings the words to our song this holy water sings along and oh the light it brings to the dark of things and all we do we do for her the vapor is restless, fill your lungs wander wistful awhile float through curtains of daylight and through the night feel her warmth crawl inside you the hollow sings the words to our song this holy water sings along and oh the light it brings to the dark of things and all we do we do for her all we do we do for her her, so pure & wild

my conscience wavers under the shadow shifting to nothing, a sight unseen follow through? something new? you know quick decisions were never my strong suit I wander after the footprints of scholars and craftsmen and some from me trying to summon the good sense to find my place among the builders and the butchers never knew much of what to make of how my way often doubles back when doubt allows I've known this road before I'll see it again before I'm gone I'm sure the spire is wearing a halo the harsh autumn sunlight washes clean I find sullen tension in this place leave no trace the spire is wearing a halo the harsh autumn sunlight washes clean I'm finding a lesson in this place leave no trace my conscience wavers under the shadow shifting to nothing, a sight unseen follow through? something new? you know big decisions were never my strong suit
